Endumeni’s commitment to going green was on full display, when a judging panel from the Arbor City Awards visited the town.
The judging panel met with representatives from the municipality, who gave a presentation on Endumeni’s greening efforts, before heading off to visit a number of local sites.
The panel urged to municipality to think green, but emphasised greening was more than just having greenery – it also involved infrastructure, tourism and other bigger opportunities. Endumeni previously won the award in 2016 in the Rural Town Category.
