Khulangolwazi High School in the Emanjokweni area celebrated Mandela Day in partnership with Hillside Nature Reserve in Ntabamhlophe.

The theme of the day was ‘It’s easy to breakdown and destroy. The heroes are those who make peace and build’ – Nelson Mandela. Learners spent 67 minutes performing different functions at the nature reserve.
They cleaned the workshop, office area, garden, dug up grass and taking measurements. The learners also performed songs and poems.
The principal Mr BS Nsuntsha thanks Hillside Nature Reserve staff, management, learners and Mr J Sibisi for organising a successful 67 minutes during International Mandela Day.
