Ayabonga Thwala and Olwenkosi Duma from Grade 6 tackled the topic ‘How we can prevent the destruction of ecosystems’. The team captured bronze medals and thanked their mentor, Mrs S Bhikraj, for all her guidance and support.

Grade 5 learners Mesuli Zuma and Sibongekonke Mchunu impressed the judges with their presentation called ‘You are what you eat’. The learners identified factors that negatively influence learner performance at school. They concluded that diet has a direct impact on learning.
