DHS artists bring canvas to life

The prelims and artworks showcased were a perfect reflection of the hard work and effort put in by the learners throughout the year.

The 2019 Grade 12 Art class of Chantel Carter, teacher at Dundee High School, held its annual art exhibition at Talana Museum last week.

The learners displayed some of their work, which was mostly characterised by pencil sketches. A painting of the lighthouse was this year’s favourite. The exhibition is open to the public in the Conference Hall at Talana Museum.

The night was a great success and the prelims and artworks showcased were a perfect reflection of the hard work and effort put in by the learners throughout the school year.

All proceeds collected were donated to the SPCA and DHS thanks everyone who supported the exhibit.
