Research shows that 46 per cent of South Africans make just R1 000 per month.
This is somewhat alarming considering the current weak economy, and South Africans are being urged to create employment instead of simply seeking it.
With this in mind, NRS is becoming business smart.
On August 28, the school’s Grade 7s took part in the annual Entrepreneurs Day, which forms part of the practical portion of Economic Management Sciences.
The grade 7s outdid themselves this year.
“We got a glimpse of what it is like to be in the trendy Maboneng market on a sunday.
Everyone was spoiled for choice, from games to delicious food, happy socks and cool accessories.
The school was truly abuzz”.
NRS thanks parents for their support, as well as Mrs de Jager and Mr Dlamini for grooming future entrepreneurs.
