Two suspects nabbed for possession of drugs and suspected stolen goods in Osizweni
Both suspects will appear at Madadeni Magistrate Court soon for possession of mandrax and for possession of suspected stolen properties or goods.
An intelligence driven operation was conducted in Osizweni with the assistance of Osizweni Crime Prevention members.
Members reacted on information regarding drugs and other cases they proceeded to a house in the Inverness area at KwaGonokwakhe area.
On arrival, two full mandrax tablets, two halves of mandrax tablets and one quarter of mandrax were recovered.
They further recovered goods suspected to be stolen at the same address.
The following items were recovered:
One black computer screen(Dell)
One black computer key board (Dell)
One silver computer flat stand
One black computer cable
One white telephone hand set (Bell)
One grey and red luggage bag.
On the same day members proceeded to a house in (A) Section, Osizweni twelve small cocaine plastic bags were recovered.
The operation yield positive results as one suspect (35) was arrested for possession of mandrax tablets and for possession of a suspected stolen goods.
Members further arrested another suspect(41).
The drugs recovered were estimated to the street value of three thousand rand and the suspected stolen goods was estimated to the value of seven thousand rand.
Both suspects will appear at Madadeni Magistrate Court soon for possession of mandrax and for possession of suspected stolen properties or goods.
