The South African Weather Services issued a warning over the weekend, cautioning KwaZulu-Natal residents of heavy rain and thunderstorms over the following few days.  Residents of Vryheid can attest to this from the heavy rain last night and the fluttering hailstorm from this afternoon.

Motorists are advised to travel with caution, as heavy rain and hail can swiftly move over the area.
