Following reports of the tornado forming in Bergville, the Okhahlamba Local Municipality Mayor Mlungisi Ndlangisa urges locals to be safe.

“We would like to urge communities to remain indoors, make sure that your children and the elderly are safe, refrain from crossing water-logged bridges and take all precautions to remain safe in this storm. Our Fire and Emergency services are on standby to assist,” said Mr Ndlangisa
