Watch: Heavy rain and hail hammers Van Reenen, bringing rain into Ladysmith as well
Disaster management teams are currently on high alert as many parts of KZN experience bad weather conditions
Heavy rain and a massive amount of hail has hit Van Reenen, which lies between Ladysmith and Harrismith.
The rain and hail pummelled the area at the bottom of Van Reenen on the N3.
The wet weather has also affected Ladysmith, and rain has been coming down for over an hour already.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, keep a safe following distance and have their headlights on in these inclement weather conditions.
