The accused face charges of malicious injury to property and attempted murder after trucks driven by foreign nationals were set alight along the N3 earlier this year. While the accused took the dock, fellow members protested outside the court.

Part of the street outside was cordoned off, and passing truck drivers reported being threatened.

The men were refused bail and kept in custody until the case continues on December 2.
