High care patient airlifted from Ladysmith to Durban
The helicopter landed at Ladysmith High School on the hockey field

A critically-ill heart patient from a local hospital was airlifted to Durban this morning (February 8).
The 59-year-old lady was in high care and had to be taken to Durban for further medical treatment.

The helicopter landed on Ladysmith High School’s (LHS) hockey field.
A local ambulance service assisted in transporting the patient from the hospital to the helicopter.
