Elandskraal farmer killed during farm invasion

A rifle and a pistol were also apparently stolen during the farm attack.

A farmer was tragically shot and killed by armed men, during a farm attack earlier this afternoon.

Collin Britz (65), who farmed on Craigmillar in the Elandskraal area, was killed between 2pm and 3pm today by a group of men, who were apparently waiting inside his home.

There are no witnesses to the shooting, but farm workers reported hearing gunshots before fleeing the scene.

A rifle and a pistol were stolen during the farm invasion. Local farmers and police officials are currently at the scene.
