Firefighters battle Covid by disinfecting taxi ranks in Ladysmith
A chemical was mixed and sprayed all over the floors and roofs

As a service to commuters, Public Safety firefighters disinfected Ladysmith taxi ranks on Monday evening (March 30) due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The firefighters – in their hazmat suits, boots, gloves and face masks – made sure that every inch of every rank in the CBD was cleaned and sanitized.
Many people flocked into town in taxis on Monday, as they needed to collect their grant money, so the taxi rank area was very busy.

A chemical was mixed and then sprayed all over the floors and roofs to kill every germ imaginable.
Many applauded the firefighters on their great work in keeping the community safe during the 21-day lockdown.
