Outreach programme helps the community during lockdown
100 loaves of bread have been distributed to destitute families every day so far during lockdown

Irfaan Bemath (Al Falah Caterers) has undertaken an outreach programme, together with members of the community at large, to assist the needy and underprivileged.
For the entire lockdown period so far, they have been distributing 100 loaves of bread each day to destitute families in and around Ladysmith.
Weekly, they have also handed out 300 food hampers (essential items) to the community and will continue to do so throughout the lockdown.

Irfaan says “hats off” to all those who are reaching out to the needy with donations and sponsorships towards this mission. He adds that, “I am grateful to each individual who has jointly assisted me in undertaking this mission and it would not be justified for me to name donors and sponsors, because merely contributing a loaf of bread makes a difference to a home and puts a smile on family members’ faces.”
A very supportive team of volunteers have sacrificed their time to help with this project, and precautionary health measures are being taken while out in the field.
