The District Command Council (DCC), led by uThukela Mayor Siphiwe Mazibuko, travelled across the district last week to carry on with the mass screening programme.
The DCC, Department of Health and community healthcare workers were part of the stakeholders who visited the iMdwebu and Obonjaneni areas of Ekuvukeni to continue with the ongoing screening process for Covid-19.
It was noted that people are still not observing lockdown regulations, as the DCC encountered residents roaming the streets without a care in many areas.
