Colenso pumps fixed, town should have water soon

uThukela District Municipality has released a media statement informing Colenso community members that the pumps have been repaired.

According to uThukela communications manager Jabulani Mkhonza, “The pumps in Colenso have been repaired and are now operational. The community should start receiving water around 3pm.

Mkhonza continued that uThukela anticipates that the higher-lying areas that are usually the last to receive water will have running taps at around 4pm today (June 14).
