Snow falls on parts of the Drakensberg close to Ladysmith
The cold weather will be here to stay until next week

Ladysmith is experiencing icy weather and the reason behind it is that snow has fallen on parts of the Drakensberg.
On Wednesday evening (June 17), snow had already fallen in certain parts of Champagne Valley just past Winterton and also on the Amphitheatre at Royal Natal National Park.
The Giants Castle area has also received some excellent snowfall.

It seems that the freeezing weather will be in place until next week, with conditions warming up only after Tuesday.
So enjoy the cold (if you can) and please share with us your photos of the snow on the mountains.
