Refuse removal to be affected in Dannhauser

The municipality has had to restructure its refuse removal schedule

Basic services, including that of refuse removal, will be affected in Dannhauser following the town’s first positve Covid-19 case.

An employee of the municipality tested positive for the virus, forcing the closure of the municipality to allow for the disinfection, decontamination and sanitization process to take place. As a result, the municipality has had to restructure its refuse removal schedule.

According to Waste Removal Manager Mr Khumalo, refuse and waste will now be collected from South Park and Newtown in Dannhauser on Thursdays.

On Friday, waste and refuse will be collected from Mafusini and Durnacol (No 2/3/7) and on Saturday from Hattingspruit and Durnacol (Targo Village, Skomplaas, Taiwan and Jacaranda).

Anyone requiring further information is urged to contact Mr Khumalo on 062-076-5428.
