Although there was slow foot traffic in the morning, a lengthy queue was formed by 3.30pm.

The process is simple and relatively pain free:
1. You will be required to answer a questionnaire where your personal details, which include your contact number, identity number and next of kin is filled in on a form.
2. Once you have registered, form in hand, you are directed to the medical professionals who perform the actual test.
3. Two tests are done with a cotton bud – a throat swab and a nasal swab.
4. Both specimens are sealed in a vial and placed in an envelope with your questionnaire.

You will receive your test results via SMS within four to seven days.
