June ‘babies’ of Cathkin Park give back

Each year in June, a group of ladies get together for a luncheon and bring a gift for a specific charity

Each year in June, a group of ladies get together for a luncheon and bring a gift for a specific charity.

This year, they all supported different charities – namely Fundisa Umntwana, Matthew 25 Project, Animal Rescue and Santa Shoe Box – by knitting clothes / blankets and donating clothing, food parcels and books, etc.

Although they did not have a luncheon this year, they met for takeaway coffee and a photo-shoot at a local coffee shop in Cathkin Park.
