Six injured after car ploughs down embankment

The driver appeared to lose control

Six people suffered injuries when their vehicle crashed down a 10 metre embankment on the Dundee/Vryheid road on Sunday night

Craig Botha of the Kwa-Zulu Private Ambulance Service said paramedics responded and treated the six occupants who sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The patients were treated on scene and stabilized. Paramedics, together with the help of KZN EMRS, RTI and JVS Towing services carried the patients back up the embankment to be transported to hospital.
