How the dams are faring as the spring season approaches

The dams are looking good, with rain hopefully just around the corner

As we slowly head out of winter, towards sunny spring, many of you might be wondering what the water levels are like in the dams around Ladysmith.

Much-needed rainfall is hopefully just around the corner as the seasons and weather patterns shift.

Here are the most recently recorded dam levels for the Ladysmith area…

Spioenkop Dam is currently on 89.1% and Driel Barrage an impressive 98.7%.

Woodstock Dam stands on 94.6% and Wagendrift Dam 97%.

The lowest dam in the KZN region is Albert Falls on 38.5%.
