[NOTICE]: Water interruptions ahead for Dannhauser and Emadlangeni

The provision of water tankers will be made available to affected communities.  

The Amajuba District Municipality has alerted local communities about possible water supply interruptions because of challenges faced by Uthukela Water, with regards to the decrease of raw water inflow from the Buffalo River.

Areas to be affected include wards four, six, seven, eight, 11, 12, and 13, of Dannhauser Local Municipality and wards three and five of Emadlangeni Local Municipality; including Waterval areas.

Uthukela Water has requested the Department of Water and Sanitation, for raw water abstraction from the Zaaihoek Dam.

The provision of water tankers will be made available to affected communities.
