UPDATE: No arrests in taxi driver’s murder

The man succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on scene

Police are seeking the suspect/s involved in the murder of a taxi driver who was killed in a hail of bullets on Wednesday (August 12).

It is believed that the driver was travelling home at about 8pm when he was shot at in Roland Hellet Road.

The man succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead on scene.

Police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi said today (August 15) that no arrests have been made yet and police are investigating the case.
