Ladysmith KZN: Expect bitterly-cold weather throughout the week

Stay warm and expect nighttime temperatures to be very low indeed

This morning (Monday, August 17) started off icy and cold, and the weather is expected to continue in this vein as the week continues. Yes, today’s weather is only a precursor of the cold yet to come.

With temperatures as low as 2 degrees in the mornings and rising to only 11 or 12 in the late afternoons, midweek, expect a cold week ahead!

The lowest expected minimum temperature will be on Tuesday night, at -1 degree Celsius.

Conditions will be mostly dry and you can expect heavy winds gusting on Tuesday afternoon, but calming by Wednesday morning.

Over the coming weekend, temperatures will start to increase again and by next week Monday, we can expect daytime temperatures to be back to normal.
