Ladysmith police station set to close yet again for decontamination

Ladysmith SAPS will be back in the King Street buidling on Saturday

Ladysmith police station, situated at 36 King Street, will again close for decontamination tomorrow (Thursday, August 20).

The decontamination process will start at 6am tomorrow morning and Ladysmith SAPS will be back to normal on Saturday (August 22) from 6am.

The police service will temporarily operate from the offices at 35 Buckingham Street during the two-day decontamination period.

During this time, no affidavits or certification will be done.

The SAPS can be contacted on 0366382580 or 0366382597 if needed for assistance.

This is the fifth time Ladysmith SAPS has had to temporarily close for decontamination purposes during the lockdown period.

Members of the public are urged to stay away from the building until Saturday.
