When paramedics from Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service arrived on scene, they were able to ascertain that the driver had lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to swerve across the T-junction and crash into an embankment.

“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that three occupants sustained injuries ranging from serious to critical. With the help of Okhahlamba Fire Services, one of the occupants was extricated using the Jaws of Life. All the patients were stabilized on scene and transported to hospital for further treatment,” commented Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service spokesperson Craig Botha.
