Swift response to fire from Department of Community Services

Cllr Viktor extends her gratitude to the director and his department for their prompt response

A fire broke out in the cul-de-sac of Klip Street on Thursday (August 13). Ward Councillor Magda Viktor received an alert about the fire and immediately contacted Acting Community Services Director TS Mthembu. Within 10 minutes of the call, the director arrived at the scene, together with a fire truck. The field is in between houses and buildings, and if left unattended, the fire could potentially have caused severe damage to the properties. Cllr Viktor extends her gratitude to the director and his department for their prompt response.
