Mystery road repairs unresolved

How has your experience with the road repairs been?

Motorists are puzzled by the extensive rehabilitation works going ahead at the main entrance to Dundee from Glencoe and Newcastle.

For some weeks now, motorists have had to contend with driving in Karelandman Street, which has been shorn of its top layer, leaving only a rutted skeleton of a surface to drive on. Motorists who spoke to the Courier said they feared traffic jams, as vehicles are forced to travel slowly along the road.

The congestion increased as all school grades returned after a lay-off for most students that started on March 18. The roadworks stretch from the Boulevard Centre to past the Road Testing Station.
