On Saturday (October 31), four-legged ‘children’ tugged at their owners’ leashes to take them to the annual rabies drive-through vaccinations. Old and young were involved in holding onto their furry friends to enable the staff of the State Vet to quickly jab the animals with the necessary ‘medicine’. Nico Gouws said they vaccinated over 500 cats and dogs on the day.
