Do you know about the five freedoms that animals have?
Human Rights Day may be next month but animal rights should be celebrated daily.
Animals have five freedoms which any responsible pet owner should know and should follow.
They are:
Freedom from Hunger and Thirst.
Freedom from Discomfort.
Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease.
Freedom to Express Normal Behavior.
Freedom from Fear and Distress.
The Dundee and District SPCA encourages pet owners to ensure that their pets have these five freedoms in place.
And remember, don’t shop, adopt!
