VRYHEID KZN: Traffic lights are finally working

Please note that this crossing is now regulated by a 'working' robot

Service delivery is a burning issue among the residents of Vryheid. Complaints regarding potholes, water outages and then the recent power outages are only but a few. On top of all these complaints, there is the issue of traffic lights that are not working. After months of using the crossing at Emmett and Church streets as a four-way stop, it was spotted this morning (February 24) that the municipality is finally repairing the robots. Please note that this crossing is now regulated by a ‘working’ robot, since some residents seem to still use it like a four-way stop.
