A shooting on Monday night (February 22) left one person dead and three others injured. It is alleged that at about 8pm on the night in question, five suspects entered the Nkosi homestead in the Belgrade area of Pongola. An argument ensued and several shots were fired by one of the suspects, which resulted in one fatality and three others being injured. One victim was dragged to a room where cash was kept. A trunk containing cash was taken by the suspects before they fled the scene.
