DUNDEE KZN: Huge water leak causes flooding at DHS

DHS has its own Jacuzzi - staff try and keep their sense of humour

The breaking of a main pipeline has been blamed on a huge water burst at Dundee High that has seen the sports field and many other areas of the school flooded.

It is not clear what caused the pipeline to burst.

The leak was discovered at around 7am this morning.

The emergency number was called but up until 10am no help had arrived. School staff are doing their best to control the flood waters.

The rushing ‘flood’ water spread out to the sports field. It is understood that workers arrived at around 10.30am to try and stem the flow.
