VRYHEID KZN: Three suspects arrested in eMondlo for drug possession
After several drug-related murder cases were reported in eMondlo, the Syabopha Multi-District Task Team conducted an operation in the area.
An operation in the eMondlo area resulted in police making three arrests and recovering various kinds of drugs, as well as cash.
After several drug-related murder cases were reported in eMondlo, the Syabopha Multi-District Task Team conducted an operation in the area.
Information led police officers to a homestead in Hadebe A-Section, where a suspected drug lord lives. There, the officers recovered 2960 straws of heroin (whoonga) with an estimated street value of R6000. In addition, three parcels of powder, also suspected to be drugs, were also seized. Two suspects aged 29 and 39 were arrested.
During the operation, the task team members also proceeded to another homestead in B-Section, where they recovered three parcels of heroin with an estimated street value of R85,000. One suspect aged 30 was arrested.
