DUNDEE KZN: “Santana” highlights Market in the Park event

Coronation Park wants to throw off its shady past

Coronation Park may have gained infamy for being the venue of wild parties that left adjacent residents furious and calling the SAPS to quell the loud music and drinking in public.

The park was also known for being heavily littered with all kind of unmentionables. Since the park was fenced off by the Municipality and finally opened after the easing of lockdown rules, Tourism Dundee hosted a Market in the Park event supported by many sponsors and Mayor Mdluli himself.

The Park has been given a facelift too. See this weeks Courier, dated April 9 2021, for full details.

The Market also featured music by the inimitable Naresh Gopie, Tourism Dundee chairman, performing and doing his Santana style show!
