NEWCASTLE KZN: Volksrust High School officially welcomes Grade 8s

Volkies marked the beginning of something really special on March 31.
“In the school hall, we held our annual inauguration ceremony, where we accepted the new Grade 8 students as real Volkies. Each learner signed a pledge when they received their blazers, promising to strive to be the best Volkie they can possibly be,” said Marketing Manager, Marietjie Steyn.
She added that the school was very excited to witness what these new students were capable of during their years ahead.
“We wish them everything of the best in all they do!” she concluded.
