DUNDEE KZN: Endumeni district gears up for Covid-19 jabs

Outreach teams will be visiting old age homes, grant pay points and taxi ranks

The Covid-19 vaccine roll-out for members of the public is finally getting underway in the Endumeni District.

Health workers were vaccinated about a month ago in a high-security operation that saw the vaccine vials taken to Dundee Hospital with a police escort.

TT Vilakazi, Chief Executive Officer of Dundee Hospital, said all those in the Endumeni District who are over 60 are encouraged to register.Endumeni sub-district is encouraging all senior citizens from the age of 60 to register for vaccinations on the following link: https://vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za/”

The community is also notified that Dundee Hospital outreach teams will be visiting old age homes, grant pay points and taxi ranks to assist with registrations for those not able to access the Internet.”
