NEWCASTLE KZN: Burst pipe leaves some areas without water
Municipal workers are currently attending to the burst pipe and will have water restored shortly.
The Newcastle Municipality has issued a statement regarding a burst pipe, which is causing water outages in some areas of town.
Drakensberg Drive, Houtkapper Avenue, Oak Avenue, Ebony Street, and Kiepersol Street will be affected, according to the municipal Communications Unit.
“This could have an effect on the surrounding areas as well,” read the statement.
Newcastle Municipality has asked that those who still have water use it sparingly.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
