Newcastle KZN: Burst pipes leave parts of town without water

"A total of 500 households have been impacted. Our team is currently on the scene and expects to have the water restored by 13:00."

After three burst pipes were reported in Aviary Hill, residents can expect parts of the suburb to be without water until this afternoon.

The following areas will be impacted, according to a statement issued by the Newcastle Municipality:

Houtkapper, Drakensberg, Crow, Quail, Reier, Raaf, Peacock, Hadida, Myna, Storm, Suikerbukkie, Troupand, Kokkewiet, Nagtegaal, Dove, Vink, Mossie, Canary and Korhaan Streets.
