Last night (July 31), a car travelling southbound on the N3 between the Tugela Plaza and the Bergville off-ramp hit kudus that were crossing the road.

A 12-year-old passenger was killed in the crash and the driver was rushed to hospital with injuries.

Two kudus were seen lying dead in the road.

RTI, emergency services and police responded to the scene.
