ESTCOURT KZN: Snow settles on central Drakensberg

The predicted cold weather and snow has swept through the country.

Snowfall has settled over the central Drakensberg and the South African Weather Service (Saws) predicts more cold weather during the coming days.

There have also been reports of snowfall in areas across the country from Worcester in the Western Cape to Elliott in the Eastern Cape.

Disaster management teams are on high alert to respond to inclement weather that may cause disruptions.
