NEWCASTLE KZN: Power outage delays Mayor’s court appearance
There is a heavy police presence outside the court premises and the courtroom itself, with messages circulating about possible protest action.
Mayor of Newcastle, Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba was set to appear in the Newcastle Regional Court this morning.
However, a power outage has delayed proceedings.
Electricity has since been restored.
