Even though winter has brought with it dry weather conditions, dam levels in the Ladysmith area remain high. All the nearby dams are still over 70%, showing just how good the rainfall was before winter.

Here are the latest levels in dams surrounding Ladysmith…

Spioenkop is on 96.47%, with Wagendrift on 94.62% and Woodstock on 79.06%.

The lowest dam in the KZN region is Hazelmere on 38.79%. Driel Barrage, on the opposite end of the spectrum, is on a whopping 110.2%.
