VRYHEID KZN: Sharing love for frontline workers

The Vryheid Herald team decided to hand out certificates to each frontline worker at AbaQulusi Private Hospital

Since the beginning of the pandemic, frontline healthcare workers have been working tirelessly, with their own needs often neglected. Caring for Covid-19 patients has also taken its toll on the physical, mental and emotional health of frontline staff. On August 17, the Vryheid Herald team visited AbaQulusi Private Hospital to show their support and gratitude to these workers who are continuously fighting the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. “Our appreciation pales in comparison to the achievement of these wonderful men and women who do so much. In our small way, we want to pay tribute to them.” The Vryheid Herald team decided to hand out certificates to each frontline worker at AbaQulusi Private Hospital. ‘’This is a small gesture of our appreciation for their tireless efforts in saving lives and fighting this pandemic.”
