NEWCASTLE KZN: Trial date set for ‘fibre feud’ case
The charges against the accused relate to the alleged attack on labourers laying down cable in September last year.
Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba, Njabulo Mabaso, and Sgananda Shezi will appear in court again next month and the month thereafter.
At the close of proceedings in the Newcastle Regional Court today (August 30), the case against the trio was postponed to September 9 for the pre-trial conference. The case will then proceed to trial on October 18.
The charges against Dr Mahlaba, Mabaso, and Shezi relate to the alleged attack on labourers laying down cable in September last year.
