The acting mayor, Cllr M Maphisa, received his Covid-19 vaccination today (September 13) and he encourages everyone to get the jab. “We would like to encourage our citizens to take the vaccination in the continued fight against this virus. Taking the vaccine is not mandatory, but it is encouraged. This will assist the country to open up the economy… And when the economy is open, we will be able to fight the scourge of unemployment.”
