ESTCOURT KZN: Cooking up a storm to curb hunger

Thanks to a donation of 50kg of rice from sponsors in Durban, 500 meals were prepared and distributed

With a helping hand from various sponsors, Food for Life Estcourt has been continuing its mission to alleviate hunger in the community.

Last Sunday (September 19) was no different.

Thanks to a donation of 50kg of rice from sponsors in Durban, 500 meals were prepared and distributed.

Rishi Rambisson distributes meals from his home in Forderville.

100 pre-packed meals were handed out in Forderville and 400 more in Masuku C-Section, Wembezi.

“The recipients truly relished the prasadam. 30 copies of Srila Prabhupada’s book, ‘Krsna The Reservoir of Pleasure”, were given to people in Forderville,” commented Lokeshwar Das from Food for Life Estcourt.
