Get ready for riveting entertainment and events this August

October 1 – Food demonstration with AJ Singh
Learn how to make your own traditional Indian chicken curry and perfect yellow rice. The food demonstration starts at 18:00 and ends at 20:00. It’s R90 per person and you eat what is cooked. A glass of wine is also included. All spices you need for this recipe will be on sale. Book your space by contacting Karen Duval on 082 415 4359.
October 2 – NG Kerk Bazaar
Die NG Kerk sal hul basaar op 2 Oktober vanaf 09:00 by die kerk se perseel (hoek van Beaconsfield- en Wilsonstraat) aanbied. Die volgende stalletjies sal daar wees: vleis, biltong en droëwors, pannekoek, tee, koffie, koeldrank, koeke, kleinkoekies, kerrie en rys, jaffels, worsbroodjies en sosaties, nagereg, brood en beskuit. Kom geniet die dag saam met ons. Almal is baie welkom.
The NG Church will host their bazaar on October 2 from 09:00 at the church’s premises (corner of Beaconsfield and Wilson streets). The following items will be sold: meat, biltong and dry wors, pancakes, tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes, biscuits, curry and rice, jaffels, hot dogs and sosaties, pudding, bread and rusks.
October 3 – La Fusion Chefs Buffet
La Fusion Chefs will be hosting a buffet at Talana Museum. Gates open at 11am and food will be served at 1pm. There will be a variety of cuisines served. R250 pp, u/12 eats at half price and u/5 eats for free. Contact 076 483 6390 for more info.
October 20 – Creations 2021
Creations 2021 will take place from October 20 to November 17 at Talana Museum. There will be great gifts, clothing, jewellery, food, plants and more, all direct from the crafter to you. Creations will be open from 10:00 to 16:00 daily.
