A car crashed on the bypass this afternoon (October 2).

It is believed that the driver of the vehicle lost control while travelling up the bypass (R103) and the car veered off the road before overturning.

Five occupants, consisting of four elderly females and one male, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance. 

Public Safety, EMS, police and breakdown services responded to the scene.
